I`m in the process of restoring my 67 Barracuda convertible and I`m adding dual exhaust to a once 273 -2bbl. engine. I`ve now got the two cut-outs in the rear valance and will run the exhaust out the rear but I would like to see what others have for ends/tips on their exhausts.

I`ve trying to find a 3" offset in and 3" center out performance muffler, but I don`t want the noise and resonance associated with a high flow muffler. Any suggestions? Right now the best thing I`ve found is a Walker/Dynomax #17769.

I`m looking to get all the gas mileage I can out of my 67- 273 2bbl engine, without installing headers. Would the 67-273 4bbl exhaust manifolds flow any better? Can I pick up a mile a gallon? Is it a worthwhile swap? Thanks for any input.

Where do your mufflers exit, from the center or side? I recently bought mandrel bent tailpipes but can`t use them because I have center outlet mufflers.These were listed as 67-74 A-body tailpipes.(No mention of outlet placement) Every A-body I`ve owned had center outlet mufflers. Is this the new...
