    Chassis-dyno time

Had my Dart on the chassis-dyno again recently to find out what the engine-swap from 318 to 360ci netted me. In short, it was 234 RWhp @ 4700rpm and about 295 ft/lbs @ 3550rpm. About 64hp more than the previous 318 engine. The 360ci engine also runs on LPG Propane fuel and has an A518 and an...

mid 80's 318 mpg economy numbers...

Anyone know first hand (or 2nd hand from literature) what the average mpg was of mid '80s (pre-roller) 318 engines? I think the compression ratio was still down the drain in that era. Want to compare the lousy mpg of the '80s 318 I have in my '73 Dart.

Anyone else using MegaSquirt on a LA motor?

Wondering how many more folks here are using a MegaSquirt ECU on their LA smallblocks? Last week, I finally was able to install my MegaSquirt MS3x in my '73 Dart and have been finding improvements along the entire rpm-range after just the first testrun around the block.
