My '67 Dart has a heater core with 5/8" tubes. The only fittings I can find to fit the intake are made for 1/2" hoses. Anyone else have this problem, are there 5/8" fittings out there? I have both a Six Pack and Edelbrock RPM and they both have the same size pipe fittng in them.

I have been have fighting the cooling issues with my '67 Dart for a while. I measured the width of the cooling tubes in my stock 2 row radiator and they are 9/16" wide. Is this a normal width? The radiator is the 22" '70 and later style for the aluminum pump.

I just recieved my champion radiator that I ordered through challengergary. Part # CC374, it is a 26" 3 row for an A body. First off he did do his part in placing the order. As soon as I payed him it was ordered within 5 minutes. So he is a honest dealer and will match any other dealers prices...

Has anyone here built their own fan shroud or found a stock one and modified it to fit the champion radiator in an A body. Whether it is a 22" or 26" doesn't matter. Pictures would be great also.

Still just weighing all options. Does anyone have any info to share where they went from a stock 2 row 22" radiator with shroud to a stock 2 row 26" with shroud? Was there any difference in cooling temps?

I am running the stock 22" radiator with shroud in my dart. Doesn't run quite as cool as I would like. It is tolerable but I would like to upgrade. Should I try the stock 26" 2 row with shroud or go to a 26" aluminum?

Well I guess I spoke too soon about getting my cooling problem fixed. It is not as bad as before. A hew days ago it was around 67* and all wa well with the car, well today it was 82* and when I sat in traffic for about 10 minutes it crept up to 205*. I am not happy with this. I want no more...

I have a 67 Dart with a 340. I have put in a new radiator ( 70-72 dart style ), the matching shroud, factory 18" 7 blade clutch fan with the short jaguar clutch. THat gave me 1 1/8" clearance between radiator and fan clutch. All of this has helped cool the engine some, but not enough because...

I am going to install an 18" 7 blade clutch fan on my dart this weekend and I am not sure which fan clutch to use. Should I get the regular spring loaded or the thermal type?

Would a factory 7 blade fan for a 340 dart cool any better than a 6 blade flex fan?

I bought a factory fan shroud for my 70-72 Dart radiator and and have no idea what type bolts or screws hold it to the radiator. Can anyone help?
