Who makes the best fitting windshield gasket for ‘67 Dart convertible? Needs to fit original Mylar lockstrip, not the generic stuff.

Yes I'm my 67 barracuda convt.
Only the bottom of the windshield gets the vinyl lock strip on the sides and top the lock strip is made in to the gasket then the stainless steel covers it.
The chrome vinyl lock strip is made after market but is pricey.

Hmmm… mine looks like this…it’s Mylar(plastic) and fits directly into the rubber

I doubt the gasket is designed for the aftermarket lock strip.

I'm sure I don't have to tell you...

Be gentle with your OEM lock strip, mine cracks just looking at it and it was a so cal garaged car

I have Year One piece in my current gasket. I’m looking for a new gasket that accepts this lockstrip. The original one was all cracked and split… thats why I bought the YO one.

I guess if I can’t find a new gasket, I’ll try and save the old one when the new windshield goes in.

I found a NOS strip. It was not for convert but is long enough to fit propperly.
