Alley rods are replaced every40-60 runs do to fatigue,and are used to make wall clocks.if it cam out of any type of a fuel motor,they are toast,and you have 8 new clocks.If you want to buy them for clocks,great,if you intend to install them in you motor,go right ahead,you have been warned,mrmopartech
 
I wouldn't run aluminum rods in anything anyway.
