1950 truck chassis swap

I mounted mine on a ramcharger chassis. to center the front wheels in the fenders the motor sets back in the cab about 3 inches. I got to make a firewall hump.

Could you email me I am starting on a 52 and looking to put it on an 1984 ramcharger. Been told track width way to wide and it will look like a bloated toad any guidance to get me started would be huge help thanks.

I'll do better than that. The track width on the D and W trucks is the same. This is mine. It's on an 83 D150 frame, with 93 D350 running gear.....Dana 70 dually rear and the same D350 one ton running gear in the front. Does it look like a bloated toad? It's OK if you think so, because I like it either way.
