Oh no doubt. The wider they get, the more useless wet traction can become. Remember the Firestone Wide Oval? I'm showing my age now, but those tires would get you KILLED in the rain. lolif on wet or especially after a dry season and get the first rain (oil slick) it will help a bunch, more side wall and tread is a good thing under these liter cars.
