Looking for a complete running or rebuildable 1965 273 commando engine. Prefer close to PNW, but willing to consider other areas. Let me know what you have. I already have a 67, so I'm not interested in other years, thanks.
 
Egge 4bbl pistons, modern solid cam profile and a 4bbl intake with a dual point distributor. Stock long block.
 
If it’s a 65, has the 4 barrel intake and carb, I can build it up to commando specs. How much are you looking to get for it?

Thanks for the pictures. Unfortunately, even with an 11/65 casting date, that engine would be a 66, and most likely have the 66 and up heads with the newer bolt style on the manifold. I might be crazy looking for an original engine for this car, but I really want to get a 65 motor. Thanks again for your time.
 
I'm looking for an early '65 block and heads with the weird bolts for the intake manifold. I might be chasing a unicorn here.:rolleyes:
 
No they're out there. I have a carb and see intake manifolds from time to time. I have a block from my 64, but would have to look to see the dates on my other 273 blocks. Heads should not be too hard to find either, as long as you do not need them right away.
