Hello.

Well, we have moved, and the Dart went with us, but getting it off the 18 wheeler was a challenge, the right rear wheel cylinder had leaked out all the brake fluid. Well, it got solved, but now I wonder if a Master cylinder for a 1967 Dart (dual reservoir) will fit a 1965 Dart (single reservoir), manual brakes and drums all around ? I have looked at pics on the Rockauto website, and they look similar, but it is no measurements, so that is why I wonder if anyone knows.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It will work.

Sure will, I've done the later MC swap myself. You just need the later lines and distribution block. Hardest part once you have all the parts will probably be popping the pushrod out of the old cylinder.

Yes I put a dual line m/c on my 65 Barracuda, from the first dual line year. Don't remember if it was '66 or '67 that it was first used.
I remember I used the same year rear wheel cylinders to keep the Braking Balance the same. & I called Brake Doctor who said I used the right parts. He also said if balance wasn't correct you just need to change the Size of the Rear Wheel Cylinders to change it.
Mine has 9 inch brakes Small Bolt Pattern.

'67 was the first year. I had the master cylinder in my '66 lose all its fluid and I found out when backing down a steep driveway. Good thing the neighbor's driveway was right across the street...
