Any pictures how it looks!

I have not done anything with it as far as installation. After I assemble the engine, I shall be installing the compressor before installing everything in the engine compartment. When I’m ready to install all the hoses, I’ll remove all the plugs at the last minute to preclude any possible moisture getting into the system. All my hoses are still sealed in a large plastic bag that Classic Air out them all in (hoses still have the plugs or caps on them)

I'm in the process of decide if I should add the windshield washer system and take it off. It wasn't a factory added thing. The dealer installed it.

What's your opinion FABO members?

I see the pump, but it’s not mounted on the shock tower - strange! Where’s the reservoir? Does the wiper switch incorporate the washer button?. If all you sre lacking is the reservoir, I’d just add it

The reservoir is a bag type hanging over the side . You can see the hose attached to the cap of the bag and the two hooks that support the bag . Its a 65 thing , 66 used a plastic bottle on top and the pump mounted over the side .

What I know of 1965 was the first year for the plastic bottle mounted on the inner fender. The washer pump was mounted beside the shock bracket towards the engine. Did late 1964 assembled cars had foot pump or electric pump?

Today I was able to take off all the rear mouldings and gaskets. Next was to vacuum everything. I put all screws, bolts, nuts and hardware in marked bags. I have never seen such a nice car without any rust. Next gastank, springs and rear axle.

Continued today with the stainless steel roof mouldings. After I was done I were surprised. The vinyl roof was glued in place and then hold in place with a stainless steel strip and then screwed in place. I really enjoy being the first one to dis-assembled it. In that way I know how to assemble it together.

After gaining some pounds over Christmas eve it was time for a two hour session in the shop.
Two years ago I was fortunate to find and buy an NOS gas tank. The old ones are always worned out.
I took the old one down and to my surprice it's unmolested and in excellent condition. The pad was still in place and I could even see the date code stampings. Week 32 in 1964. This car was assembled in mid December. It's tje factory tank! So now I will try to get rid of the old undercoating. We'll see how it works out.
Next was to take down the prop shaft, rear springs, the shocks and the rearend. I even dis-assembled all the plastic plugs on the car.
Best of all so far NO RUST!!

The engine is out and today I'm just pictured all the ac stuff so I can get it back in right position. The body is totally rust free! Yipee!

Today I bought a bunch of NOS early A-body stuff. I found the upper and lower trunk mouldings as well as one complete taillight assy. One turn signal assy and one headlight bezel. There were even some NOS Valiant stuff I have to go through.

I just wish I could find this rear black resonator!
