I have another thread on here from a while ago that goes into more detail, but in short:
I'm running a Tremec tr3550 five speed, and I was able to reuse the factory crossmember with some modification to move the mounting holes further forward. I used a mid-sump oil pan from Sikky, and I relocated the oil filter to near the front of the K member. Rear end is an 8 3/4 that was in the car when I bought it, so I just had to have a driveshaft made once I got the new trans in. I used a hydraulic throwout bearing, so I mounted a clutch master to the firewall, reinforced it with a plate, and was able to reuse the factory clutch pedal. I did have to make a new pushrod that I mounted below the factory location on the pedal.

Other things to note:
Tanks INC efi tank/in-tank pump
Battery had to go in the trunk
22"x16" radiator that would fit further forward into the core support to make room for electric fan
LS6 intake (truck intake won't clear the hood)
Holley terminator x and harness (poorly wired through the blower-motor hole)

Well I for one like any running Mopar with any engine. That means one more Mopar outta the scrap yard. It's called hot roddin.
I can agree with that, someone could always switch it back if they wanted to also, It's hard to argue against the LS swap Cheap Powerful and tons of aftermarket Support. But to me It's not a Dodge anymore he might as well be on a Chev forum and hopefully this doesn't becomes the de facto swap, but yes better than them rotting away.

I have an 02 Escalade same engine only has 125k on it.
If it ever gets totaled and the engine survives I may put it in my 64 Valiant.
