I doubt it's original. It should have the "Commando V8" emblems on the fenders and the rectangular cutout in the rear valence (hard to see, but it doesn't look like it). I don't what the codes on the codes on the fender tag should be, but that may tell the story. I'd only trust it with the proper documentation (broadcast sheet, window sticker, fender tag, invoice...).

Jim...it's a Canadian car...we have different emblems and trims up here. This is a 1965 Canadian Valiant "Custom 100" convertible....nowhere will you find Plymouth anyplace on it. Note trunk and hood emblems says "Valiant", not "Plymouth" like in the US. Also notice it has the US Dart-style dashboard.

Well, I'd still have to see documentation to believe it. Doesn't matter because I'm not in the market for a car anyway...

No cutout, and commercial seller. That motor is unrestored compared to the rest of the restored car.

So with no cutout it's a V8 that someone put a 4bbl top end on. Still looking for that Formula S Valiant!

Let's not get too hung up on the minutiae, be it factory or assembled, this is a nice car.
