Up for sale is the rear window trim/molding for a 1966 Formula S Plymouth Barracuda. Overall in decent shape, but the pieces do have some pitting and a few of the mounting studs have been broken off the main piece, one of which has left a very tiny hole in the piece. Also one of the hinge covers is broken, but this seems like a common break for these trim parts.

P.S. This is my first time posting on here and also selling something on a forum, so I hope you will be patient with me while I learn the ropes. I will try my best to make any transaction as smooth as possible.

Are these pieces priced too high or are they just really common?

Thanks

Since you asked.....the first problem you have is the holes drilled into the center piece was not done by the factory. Someone must of secured it with screws to the car instead of using the pins and speed nuts. I don't think its repairable. Second, the broken trunk hinge cover is definitely not repairable. Last, rechroming all those pieces cost me around $400. - $500. back in 2005 on a set that was in good shape, yours may not be restorable, only a chrome shop would know for sure.

GOOD lUCK

Thanks for the replies, I didn't realize that those holes weren't original until you mentioned it. I guess some of the pieces may still be usable if anyone is interested in them.
