I found this untouched original in Western Arizona eight years ago. I've had several dozen 66 Valiants over the last 50 years as my favorite A-body. Including a V100 2dr that was factory built with a 273 Commando, 4spd. Sure Grip, Rallye Suspension, manual disk brakes and fast ratio steering. I've built them with 340s, 360s and even hot S6s often with all the chassis upgrades noted. This one was intended to be my final best effort but age and finances have stopped me. As you are likely aware, the V100 in 66 featured a full pan rubber floor over jute. If any moisture gets into the jute it is trapped under the rubber and rots the pan from the inside out. Finding one today with original floor pan intact is nearly impossible. I bought another one around the same time west of Vegas, lifetime desert car. When I picked it up, sure enough the floor was made of street signs. A clean good-looking car too. The AC had dripped water... There is surface scale on this one but it is solid. The body is unrusted other than some surface oxidation and shows original paint. The driver's door is lightly oil canned and the trunk lid is dented. Good replacements are included. It is a three on the tree slant six with a 70s 225 bolted in. I drove it onto the trailer. The car alone is for sale at $2500 Firm with clean Colorado title. Located in Bayfield, zip 81122.

There are numerous parts available that can be additionally negotiated. Once the car sells they will all be available but not prior.

The picture is after being unloaded from the trailer on arrival from Arizona. It shows road dirt before it was rinsed as it was towed through a rain storm. It has been stored in a shed since and I will pull it out once someone shows interest. A phone discussion is recommended. Thanks, VJ

Not until I pull it out of storage. I discarded the bench seat frame. The rear seat frame is intact bottom and back but upholstery shot. It's a radio delete car with dash plate intact, headliner is in tatters but bows all present. Door cards in place. I have a box of front/rear armrests that a buyer can have. I also have an optional sport steering wheel with Plymouth horn button in decent shape and a slick steering column for floor shift conversion I'll toss in.

I'll pull it out this week. It's packed full of parts in a deep corner so will take me a little time. I listed it now to gauge interest. I'll get on it...

Following a discussion with an interested party, let me add that this was a barn find eight years ago. It had not been operational for probably 10 years before that. It is emphatically a solid survivor but a deep project. I was able to drive it onto the trailer by dumping gas in the carb and hotwiring it. It is not even close to driveable and I'm not selling it as a roadworthy car. Fans of this model should be excited but don't get carried away... :-O
