Had to mount the exhaust on the back to see how deep I could set the battery down into the floor on the pass side of the trunk.

Cut a hole in the rear trunk floor on the pass side yesterday. Need a spot for the battery. Made a box for the battery to sit in, forgot to take a pic of it.

Also welded up the seam between the rear valance and the quarter panel.

Well, got a chance to work on the Cuda today!!! :cheers: Put the engine and trans back In with the rear assy so I could figure out the length of my driveshaft. I used an old Viper shaft that I cut the ends off with the lathe. Bought a length of aluminum tubing so I can weld in a new center section.

I put the front suspension back together again to check the length of the shocks, etc. I also have to build the brackets for the front calipers, so I might as well have it all together for fitment and clearance issues.

Now I have to save up some money for custom wheels...... rotest: Not going to be cheap.

That chassis setup,looks great! Still a big fan of a triangulated rear four link setup,tuned right. That exhaust, is stunning....

Took it off the spit today. Wanted to make sure it was going to sit relatively where I wanted it to. Wanted to make any changes before the paint went on the bottom. With all the weight yet to go in/on the body, I think it will naturally drop another 1"-1&1/2" and sit just about perfect. My calculations worked out pretty damn close. I still like the look of Cragers on an older car. Wish they made them in a 18" version. These 15" will not clear the brakes or steering linkage.
