1967 Idler Arm??

Can anyone tell me why an Idler Arm for mt 67 Dart is so expensive?? What makes it different to other years??

Im thinking about getting a Front end kit but they dont seem to have the idler arm in there too!!

Any advice on this matter chaps??

67 is 1 year only hence the large $$ amount -- 1st year of the new larger a body--- can change K members or search patiently for the low $ deals--

just read that you are overseas --bummer-- someone here might know how to modify a 68- later style -- or Doc Dodge at (Slantsix.org) might know---- do a search -- it may have been covered before--- good luck

If you can get the bracket, you can update to the later idler arm. The 67 bracket is right about in the middle of the two tabs on the later bracket so you can't just add the upper half. If I were ready to swap engines in my Barracuda convert I'd give you a bracket cut off the /6 k-member.

Ah right. Looks like ill have to bite the bullet. Ill be ordering direct as over here I was quoted £160 for it which is about $270-280.

Wow, that`s high! I`m sure there`s someone stateside that would ship to you. They`re still still about $140.00 U.S.,but that`s better than $275.00. Have you tried PST or even Advanceautoparts website? I`d look further before committing to buy at that price.

You should be able to get a 68-72 k-member shiped to you for less than that and you'll never have to spend that much for an idler arm again.

They don't have it listed ont eh website but call and ask them. They saved me about $40 on my '73 manual steering pitman arm compaired to the other places. I agree either swapping the mount to a later style or getting someone fromt he US to ship it to you.

I just spoke to ESPO and its gonna be $520 ish for a Complete Poly Front end kit with Idler Arm shipped.

Tbh I think thats a good deal. When you consider the idler over alone is £160-170. I also go quoted a record £215.55 today and thats around $400 ish.

PST kit is $445 for the 67 with idler plus they want $200 to ship!!

Yeah the poly kits are higher. I think they quoted you the (we don`t want to bother with shipping overseas) price!
