1968 Barracuda fastback cloning to 340 4 speed

4 speed hump welded in had to add a few inches on the drivers side due to donor of the hump having rot. I’ll clean it up seam seal.. go underside and dolly it tight weld and seal as well..

Today, New clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing. High torque starter installed….. stay tuned big moves next week.

mines a cali car too looks better under then on top
needs a rr quarter rf fender little bubbles in the door and rockers
going to drive it this year ,body next winter ,then 340 swap the following winter
 

Today setting up heater core and AC UNDERWAY, clutch bar brace welded in additional holes drilled for power booster,

10-4....just saw the brake line going across the firewall had gotten painted white and figured you'd replace it since you're working so hard to make the car nice.

That line is staying white lol I painted it
On purpose.
 
I hope in the midst of the rattle can rebuild you replaced the Nylon geared timing chain... Nothing like a freshly used install having an Achilles heel

no rattle can I used a paint brush, engine was run for 2 hours with steady oil pressure 60 lbs 80,000 original miles removed the original clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing.
No reason for me to send it out unless I blow it up. Then I’ll do it again. Takes me 2 days to do. And I have plenty of time.
