and a few more pics
and I also have the flywheel, the correct seat medalions and I will probably dig up some other pieces also.
All trim is here except a good set of the fratzogs that go on the rear pillars.
Car runs and drives(I just need to put driveshaft back in)but the brakes need to be gone thru but I have a new master cyl. and new brake lines installed as is the gas tank and sending unit. The car will have to be trailered but can be driven on to the trailer.
Just a side note as someone asked me to get them a shipping quote? That is up to the buyer to get their own shipping quotes.
The car is in CT.06018
Thanks Doug

Craig
No as CT. does not issue titles to cars over 25 years old.But I have the 2nd owners phone # and she owned the car since 1973 and drove it till 1991.I know that some of you live in States that make titles mandatory and I am sorry but all I can say is that I have stayed intouch with the po and I just have to take the car to the State DMV and have the vin cleared in order to reg. it.
Sorry if this is a problem for anyone
Doug

Craig, you asked the ownership title question early in the post and Doug promptly answered. A legitimate question, but repetitively asking may give some the perception there is something amiss. I saw this car, before it was for sale, and Doug told me the story about the prior owner, and it is exactly what he is saying here in the post.
Good luck with the sale.

bring it thru as a race car?
Haven't done it myself, but am told it is possible. Then go thru the safety and register it. Must have Bill of sale, registration in sellers name and I think a police vin search that shows clear and free.

The Dart looks like a good deal and the only thing I'm saying is maybe if all paperwork was in hand to clear it all it might give someone a kick in the pants to actually move on the deal.. I think its well worth the$$

JUST AN UPDATE
Cost of living is skyrocketing with the fuel costs so now the price is $7500 and if you have any involvement with oil in this country?your price is $12500 cash, sorry but I am speculating the fuel costs to continue to climb and so will the price of my beautiful Dart:la:
Doug

This would be a great car for AdamR, he lives in Ct, but i think he's partial to Dart Sports.
He loves the red cars.
Maybe try to p.m. him.
Someone's going to get a good deal here!

Im partial to all Mopars, LOL But Im also dead broke. At $6500 Im about $8000 short. Thanks for looking ut for me though and good luck with the sale Doug. I know what a pain in the *** the no title in CT thing can be.

I hear ya and like I said I will turn up something for ya.We were out checking out a 69 GTO ragtop and a a barn full of parts today.

just to put my two cents in about buying a car from a non title state and trying to register it in a title state (California like I am which requires a title to transfer a vehicle to your name). My 68 Dart I bought came with Alabama bill of sale. I went to DMV the first time and said I need to transfer this vehicle to me they said give me your paperwork which I gave them the Alabama bill of sale. Then they said In Calif you need a title from the state you bought it from to get a Calif title for your vehicle. So I left and did more checking, and found out I did not need a title because Alabama is a non title state for pre 75. So I go back to DMV talk to a different person told them the situation they got out the DMV book that shows all states laws and seen that Alabama does not provide a title for pre 75. DMV did a vehicle verification checking VIN location and wallah I got a Calif title a couple of weeks later. So your DMV in any ststae should have the same book that show state laws. Hope this helps and sorry for it being long. Good luck.

Thanks Guys
Info is always welcomed in my book.
I put the driveshaft back in and dropped a battery in it and was out in the driveway pulling holeshots tonight:burnout:
I am also in the market for a decent open trailer to haul my 69 Cuda to the track with and would be up for partial trade?
Thanks Doug

someone buy it.

Someone should buy it before I start by tubbing it and making my race car out of it.I have NO use for this car as a restored car so,Please save it from becoming a race car.
