My heater control lever (68 dart no A/C) was broken so i don't have photos of how it is supposed to have been installed. I was able to source and replace the broken slide for the upper controller which is Off > Heat > Defrost. I installed it, however, i am assuming i may have mounted it backwards. Before i risk breaking the slide when removing the roll pin to reverse it i thought i would check. As shown in its current position the lever points down at 4 o'clock, and as such, it doesn't have full slide of travel and is not moving the "shut off door cable". If i remove the roll pin and rotate the cable assembly and reattach the lever with it pointing downwards at 8 o'clock will that fix my problem. Thanks.
