How are u referring to different radiators ? Different year water pumps to radiators yes what did u switch that u didn’t realize would change things. also timing covers for different years can reflects what water pumps are used.
the early pump is a direct swap to the later timing cover. see my post #349 above :thumbsup:

Radiator was original. I had it tanked and tested. I wanted to use the original if possible. The water pump is for a 318 1970. It feeds to the radiator differently on the bottom. We will use 2 to make one hose that will work.

or just fit an early water pump and hose. the pump outlet is driver side same as your radiator. no hinky hoses to worry about flapping against the damper/pulleys or worse the fan blade.

I finally got the torsion bar numbers figured out.

0.87 110#/in 2071626-7 2535892-3 or P5249149 318 w/ air - 340 std bars

Should be fine for my Dart.

That's awesome my dad found 2 pristine build sheets in his/my dart. I don't know where he found them.

on your console I have a suggestion that someone passed to me here on FABO - attach the console carpet to the console using wide industrial velcro. You buy it by the foot, it sticks to the back of the carpet and the console - no muss, no fuss and when you need to get to stuff below the console you just pull it off and push it back on when you are done. (Thanks 4spdragtop!)

I want to use a stock air cleaner. Take the 2 barrel to a 4 barrel. I ordered a generic base and cut the stock base out.
Before final assembly I need to locate an air filter that is about 9 3/4 diameter and stock height and do a trial fit. If it does not clear on to a drop base.

I am going to have to use a dropped base. Problem with an Air Gap and a Holley Electric Choke is apparently the Choke clearance. I will tackle this after it is running.

(C07) C21 was a typo C07 is Dec 07 of 1967? Is that correct.
My car never had shoulder belts. When did they become available or standard. I thought my car would have been an earlier production date.

C = December
21 = 21 day in December

If your asking about a 67 model year then December, 21 1966

If your asking about a 68 model year then December, 21 1967

BUT...

fender tag shows C07 = December, 7 (Pearl Harbor Day)

First muffler shop was $850, less if I provide the mufflers. Second shop not in my part of Richmond was $350 and I provide the mufflers. I have these so I am not going to use anything else. Also I am now going to dump the pipes at the rear axle to save money. I should be able to change mufflers if I don’t like the Flow FX. Also easy to change outlets to in front of the tires.

I have to do some more research. I need to see where the mufflers should sit.
I think they are way too far back.

Maybe they should sit way back.

Too cold to do much of anything in the garage, but I wanted to see my new NJ tags on what is now a Virginia Dart. They will match the last registered Inspection sticker from December of 1987.

I’m not a cat lover, however that cat found me and became a great friend. Unfortunately, he was bit by a copperhead. At least that’s our best guess and had to be put down his systems really started shutting down. I have that picture of him on a memory photo unit that plays 24 seven.
