The following is my current ad in craigslist. I am wanting to sell my '68 Valiant after 12 wonderful years of growing up along side her. I have tons and tons and tons of pictures so please let me know if you want a different view.

1968 Plymouth Valiant with a newly installed and rebuilt 318. It previously had a 225 slant six in it before the engine swap. The 318 currently has right under 8,000 miles on it. The vehicle has been and currently is my daily driver. It runs and drives excellently. The only issues with the vehicle right now are 1) small transmission pan leak, 2) control arm bushings are worn out, 3) Exhaust tips currently hit bottoms of rear fenders on large bumps (Just need to be cut down), 4) fuel gauge works but inaccurate, 5) tear in driver bench seat and tear in headliner, 6) front bumper and right fender tweaked. The car has excellent glass, the body is mostly rust free, the dash, rear bench seats, and sun visors are in excellent condition.
The following is a list of things that have been done recently and any major fixes or modifications.
- New Edelbrock 650 Carburetor
- New Radiator
- Newer master cylinder (<10,000 miles)
- New front brakes and tires
- New brake lines and wheel cylinders
- New dual exhaust
- Newer leaf springs (<10,000 miles)
- Newer fuel tank
- New fuel tank sending unit
- New starter
- Newer battery (within a year)
- Brand New alternator
- Electronic Ignition installed two years ago
- Shock absorbers (all 4) replaced
- Installed 318 engine
- bored .060 over (new pistons)
- performance camshaft
- Air cleaner and valve cover dress kit (Mopar Muscle)
- All new hoses (heater, radiator, and vacuum)
- Edelbrock performer intake manifold
- Heads machined
- New carpet (removed old rubber flooring)
- CD player, small custom center console that holds two 5" speakers and a tach, and 2 6"x 9" speakers will come with the car.
- Small gauge cluster installed on custom center console for oil pressure, voltage, and temperature
- Brand new pitman arm
The car will come with four 14" rims at no extra charge for anyone wanting to upgrade the rim sizes from 13".
