1969 Barracuda electric fuel pump placement

Trying to install an electric fuel pump as close to the tank on our 1969 Barracuda, very little space between tank, rear end, shocks and exhaust.

anyone with pictures of A-bodies with an electric fuel pump mounted close to the gas tank? preferably a fuel pump with 3/8's fittings

This is the only picture I have of the fuel pump mounted on my 69 Barracuda. It is a carter pump and is mounted to the inside of the framerail with the supplied L bracket. It is not as close to the tailpipe as it looks in the picture.

Easy access and not in the way or close to Tail pipes. The car had 12 inch wheels with tail pipes and tips

on my 68 I used to run a holley blue pump mounted right in front of the right leaf spring front mount. Never had an issue there.
