I have recently repurchased the 1969 Barracuda notchback that I first bought in 1972. It is in rough shape, but restorable, I think. At this point I am doing some disassembly to evaluate needed repairs and also documenting some of the car's features. This car has what appears to be an original defogger system in the rear package tray. There is a defogger switch on the dash, a blower motor mounted in the center of the package tray with a discharge duct that splits into two ducts to feed two round diffusers. The diffusers are nearly completely destroyed and crumbling. The duct is coming apart in a couple of places but probably could be salvaged. Has anyone ever seen a system like this on a notchback? Any chance someone has diffusers? I'm thinking that new diffusers could be 3D printed, assuming that one could make a model. There are a lot more issues with the car that require attention before it runs and drives again, but thought this system was unique and would like at some point to get it operational again.
