Engine was rebuilt, about 30,000 miles on it. I ran it in my car for 5 years trouble free. Ran great Restoring my car I decided to take the engine apart and see what it had for internal parts since it was in the car when I bought it.
Found that the deck height is off from one side to the other Right side is .08 above deck and left side is .04 below deck. Everything else looks good. More pics. if needed
750 carb and I have the exhaust manifolds but not sure if there original. I CC'ed the heads and they came in at 73cc or 74 so looks like they never been planed. I am not a good mechanic I just get by so feel free to have me check out anything you need to know. Asking $2000. Pictures on the way.

I have 2 pistons out and weighed them on a accurate scale but did not clean the carbon off 1969.9 and the other is 1968.6 that's in grams.

.30 over all 8. Will put all the the engine back together with all the nuts and bolts that I took out but will not torque them down but the old gaskets will be in place and will coat everything in oil. And as many pictures as you need to see on the reassembly.

This is the dyno read out from a few years back running a 600 CFM carb. and a stock dist.
Was on a chaise dyno. I have a few short videos of it running and one last year as it's running down the track.

It looks like some intake port work has been done in picture # 6. Was the porting work done to port match the intake to the heads?

Port work to the heads intake side but looks like the intake manifold has never been messed with. I am not good with engine work and sorry I can't be more help but if you like I can get some pictures of the intake manifold.

Check the port work with an intake gasket against the intake ports on the head & then against the intake port on the intake. That will tell you for sure if all of the holes line up with no excess metal showing.

Heads were port matched, the intake you have there is not. Someone has done some work on the heads, that's a good thing.

I have a lot to learn that's why I just bought the new BluePrint 408 turn key engine and selling my 340. I really would like to keep it but I was not born rich.
