1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 4 –Speed, H- Code Rotisserie Restored

In 1970 the Chrysler Corporation fitted the low weight Dodge Dart with a performance driven 340. The 1970 Swinger 340 came with non-functional hood scoops with 340 decals. These scoops were the same as used on the Super Bee when the Ramcharger fresh air intake hood was ordered. Front disc brakes were standard on these cars which was nice. Other standard items were Rallye suspension, a sure grip rear , and a bumble bee stripe. The list of options for the Swinger 340 was extensive and not limited to: all-vinyl bucket seats could replace the standard bench seat, and this permitted one to order a center console. A performance hood upgrade with scoops was painted flat black with hood tie-down pins.
This 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger was special in that it was ordered with some nice options, some include High Impact Go Mango/Vitamin C Orange paint(EK2), a 4-Speed Transmission, performance hood treatment and hood tie-down pins.
Upon discovering this unique solid Dart it was evident that it deserved a top notch restoration. The car was completely disassembled, stripped and placed on a rotisserie. It was repainted its original EK2 using base coat/clear coat. No corners were cut during reassembly. All new brake lines front to rear were installed. The front end was rebuilt with new inner and outer tie rods and upper and lower ball joints. The fuel system was replaced with a new OEM fuel tank and fuel lines. Other NEW items purchased during the restoration include carpet, vinyl top, headliner, door handles, outside door locks, parking lights and bezels, front and rear bumpers, windshield, and mirrors.
This car possibly has a dealer replacement block as it is correctly date coded with high performance X heads. The motor has been completely rebuilt using some performance upgrades for added power. The block was bored 30 over, new pistons, rods, HP cam shaft, and bearings were used. The heads are also newly assembled using new parts. The motor runs great and has serious power. The motor currently has about 100 miles on it. The 4-Speed transmission was rebuilt and shifts nice…And what a BLAST to drive!!!
Yes this car includes its original fender tag and two build-sheets. Those seriously interested may contact me. An absolute steal at $20,750
