1970 Dodge Dart Engine Wiring Harness

-
I repurposed a 1974 Dart harness for my 1965. The engine and light harnesses were still separate, as in 1965, and most terminals were still the same. The pins that varied were mostly the middle ones on the engine harness that also varied within a year, based on options (backup lamp varied if floor or column shift, AC, washer motor). 1974 lights run a ground return wire across the front, whereas 1965 used the body. The harnesses did have some inbreeding, like the oil pressure switch is on the "lamps" harness or such. 1966 added a 3rd "wiper" harness, mostly short wires to the wiper, plus whatever else needed a home.

Is the engine wiring harness and the front light harness connected as one harness on a 1970 Dogde Dart Slant 6 No A/c Model?

No. Look at the factory manual, the bulkhead connector and how it splits off. You can download a factory manual as well as aftermarket wiring diagrams, free, at MyMopar. No, I don't work there. Some of the manuals there came from the guys on here
