Looks like an awesome build. Please keep us all posted. I'm really interested to see how she comes out.

that sure is a funny lookin' cup holder...

wow! can't miss that! keep us posted...I can't wait to see it all together...btw, welcome!!

do you have a pic with the hood down? I like that cowl idea, just wanna see how it fits up. I was thinking about doing that on my car

I hope to restore my 70 like this, its the same color! I am in love.. lub dub, lub dub, lub clunk! Owe.

Welcome to FABO!!! Looks like it will be one cool ride, nice choice on your plater by the way, they do some really good work!

thanks for the great replies got a question for you though i know how old scool most mopar guys are this is the question do i go with 20x12s in back and 18x8 in front for the new restomod protouring look or littles and bigs prostreet style one of the best looks is mojoluvs demon with the m/t racing wheels lets see how may agree or disagree

the core support , inner fenders and firewall look great, you must have alot of hours just under the hood.

we're really not old school......we're just old....If I were you I'd build it how you want...and you look like you got a outstanding handle on it....Mopar to ya'...Denny

thanks i just checked out your car man that brings back old memories i was standing right next to it the year at the mopar nats when big daddy don did a tv show episode i think that was the first year back at colombus for the nats in like 1996 or so very cool car i have admired it since

"built in parachute tunnel".........sounds like prostreet style to me. Big rim combos seem more big brake/auto cross suspension style

But it's your car and will definately be an eye-catcher either way.

And they say us old guys have CRS(can't remember sh%t)...course i can't remember what I did this morning...but I remember that moment like yesterday....and it was at Indy....not to friendly over there...glad it returned to Columbus....Thanks for the compliment.

AMIGO....you have at minimum 120k car that has more chrome that 4 56 Buicks' in a row ....put on it whatever MAKES YOU HAPPY, YOU have to live with it, so do what YOU like...
.
That being said.............
IMHO classic cars that folks put too large of a set of wheels on, makes the classic look cheesy like a hooptie. a couple of sizes larger than stock is OK but the GYNORMOUS wheels with little bitty profile tires makes most classics look like one of the clown go carts in the Thanksgiving day parade! NOTHING looked like that back in the 50's 60's or 70's unless it was owned by the shrine circus!!
I have seen tasteful upgrades to 15 thru 18 inchers beyond that it takes on a clown like appearance and bears a resemblance to a 4x4 vehicle ( not typically known for street performance or a hot looking CAR head turner)
just my 2 cents

seemed more like 4 cents to me...I'm just sayin'...when i saw the firewall had no mounts for the mastercylinder I got concerned...seemed like you were gonna do a lot of chute packin' between the stop lights....then I read in the specs you have it hid under the dash....whewwwww glad we got that cleared up.

Can't wait to see the finish product...

I can't believe all the chrome you scored with this ride....the guy had to be a Chevy guy at one time or another....

Nice paint.
So whats the deal with this car...Is it for sale,or did you just buy it ?
