1970 Hemi Cuda Convertible repo'd in '72

Dam hard to believe that someone lost a Cuda convertible because of $51.45 even in 1972 dollars.
 
My parents bought their 70 `cuda ragtop at a repo auction in Dec. 1972. Been in the family since.
 
Bought my 1971 Curious Yellow 383 auto Cuda convertible in 1979 from finance company after the owner let it go back, they wanted $1,600 for it and I bought it for $850

But back then they were just used gas hog cars and recession high gas prices what's a poor guy to do?
 
they should have left the custom paint on the car. they ruined it by putting it back to boring *** stock.
 
money was tight to buy the car.
but they had money for a custom paint job .
