I've driven this car from Sacramento to San Francisco several times with no problems (about 90 miles each way), even on hot Sacramento days with no issues
Car is currently not running because it needs a new fuel sending unit - my neck and back are getting so bad, I can't work on it any more unfortunately, so I haven't been able to replace it.

Car is in Sacramento CA.

You should have Cameron come by and install the fuel sending unit for you.
I'm driving up to Oregon next month, and would love to stop by to check out the dart and make an offer, if it's still available and running.

If it really is just the sending unit that's keeping you from enjoying it, I'd be happy to come install it for you. I remember seeing that car years ago at the Capital City Mopar show. It's an awesome car. I'd hate for you to regret selling it.

thanks guys... The neck is doing a little better lately - they can't do an MRI because I've got metal prosthetics in my ears from surgeries years ago, so I've got to schedule a CT scan instead - but - things are improving... so i'm hoping to be able to crawl under there to get the sending unit back in.. I imagine I'll need to replace the mechanical fuel pump - our fantastic (sarcasm) gas we have here in CA always seems to cause the diaphragm in the fuel pump to fail when it sits for a bit.. but I do want to get it running - it will definitely help me sell it for a bit more money.

Get better brother, your health is most important. Your Dart will always sell.
I just had a kidney and pancreas transplant 8 months ago. Had to get rid of my 71 Barracuda and my 71 Dart when I got sick.
Regret it, but like they say, sometimes life happens. Doubt I will ever have a chance to replace my Cuda, but I would love to replace my Dart. When the time is right, if it's meant to be, I'd love to check out your Dart. Please don't push yourself, take care of that neck and back and take it easy!!

Got Dart, I'm coming to Sacramento next month to visit family. I can certainly install the sending unit for you.
PM me if your interested in getting this task done. Glad to help out, no charge. You provide the jack, ramps, jack stands and tools.
If we can plan it out, I'll make it happen......hopefully the fuel tank isn't full. Otherwise get out a electric fuel pump and some hose with empty gas cans. Lol.!!
