1971 dodge demon gull wing opinion

so my buddy is sanding down my car and just gonna primer it, what should i do? put the wing on now and paint it matte black or just wait till i actually paint the car? I'm really excited about looking at my car with the wing on. please give your opinions thanks.

Just gonna be grey primer for now . Eventually I'm going to paint it the original color blue

I did the same thing,put it on for gods sake,paint it blk and strut your stuff man...it will look good
