I Started to tear down my duster to get redone ground up. The only thing I am reusing is the Trans and Shifter and the shell. The rest will be sold to fund another build. I have everything here fo this car repo . NOS , or mint . The motor is fresh but to radicle for a street car with manifolds. Because ther was nothing wrong with it I am leaving it whole.I have a mild 416 for it. The rear is a 8 3/4 391 489 with new ss springs and offset hangers, There going . I drove the car onto the lift. The dash and harness are good but it was cut for a stereo and the altenator ends were changed. body parts are already sold. The grille is painted all black and has to be stripped. These parts will all be listed on Craigs list or Ebay. The tires and wheels are new. They made 4 1/4 mile passes on my 72. Here are some pics of the tear down.

Looks like a heck of a starting point. Got a lot done in a day, that engine dropping system sure makes short work of that.
Oh ya, nice collection of fenders!

COOL. i noticed you have that billet front timing cover. I got that one too when they were still being made a couple years ago. cool.

Very cool.. Love watching a teardown. Is a factory orange/black interior? That will look really sharp!

The cowl will be cut off the car and replaced for clean out and paint under it. The rear of the quarters were already done and the roof skin and rear drip rails were removed and replace already I don't think I took pics of that proccess.

I stopped working on it when a title problem arrose. The lower front of the quarters will also be removed. I want any inner rust addressed now. I will not replace the whole quarters they dont need to be. This car was a drag/street car until 74. It has so many holes in the firewall and inner fenders for things they mounted.

Notice the hole torched in the floor under the steering column . This was where the positive battery cable came through from the trunk which was almost wore through.

Car has 34 K . Last state inspection was 1974. The car is from Martinsburg VA. I just finally got the title 2 months ago. After 2 years of waiting. Somewhere I have a copy of the ebay auction with the picture of this car If I find it I will add it.

It s a factory EV2 interior car

Damn, that's really impressive Oldmanmopar. Can't wait to see how she progresses.

Is that a Stock oilpan by any chance? Need to replace mine and been looking for a pic of one for reference (not sure if mine is stock or aftermarket).
