1971 Plymouth Duster for sale. Originally a Slant 6/ AC Car. No Fender Tag.
Car has a freshly built 1969 383 .030 w/ forged crank, stock rods w/ arp bolts, Kb Hyper Pistons, 440source balancer, Schumacher Headers, Stock Iron Heads that have been rebuilt with comp springs/locks/retainers, stock rockers, comp cams xe274, edelbrock performer intake, Mallory Distributor,750 CFM Speed Demon Carburetor, Aluminum Northern Radiator with Spal Electric fan. Engine has been broken in and runs fine.
Car has new Engine/Electrical Harness from Classic Industries. Not everything is hooked up. Just what was required to get the engine running.
Torqueflite 727 that has been rebuilt with Transstar rebuild kit, Transgo shift kit, Cheetah Manual Valvebody. New Turbo Action 17805ST 3800RPM Torque Converter. B&M Megashifter new in box.
Driveshaft from southbay driveline with spicer u joints, 8 3/4 with stock 5x4 axles 489 case w/ 3.23 open differential. Car comes with Doctor Diff 5x4.5 BBP axles with green bearings pressed on already. Super Stock Lead Springs on the car.
Drum brakes all the way around that have been rebuilt. Small Bolt Pattern (5x4). *Car comes with 5x4.5 disc brake conversion minus power brake booster/master cylinder.
Front end has not been rebuilt but comes with parts to rebuild front end. Ball Joints, Tie rod ends, bushings.
Floors and trunk have been Por-15'd years ago and no rust. Only spot was a small portion underneath the spare tire wheel well where the gas tank straps anchor. A plate has been put in the wheel well to give extra support until it can be properly patched. Car comes with black classic industries carpet.
Car has been primered, all dents dings, surface rust has been taken care of. Its not perfect but it will need minimal work to prep for paint. Engine bay has been painted Plum Crazy. Car comes with some left over paint so you can match it when the car is painted. Door jambs have not been painted.
Car has '72 driver side fender and '71 passenger side fender.
Selling because I do not have the time to finish the car. Car is not drivable because I have not installed a shifter to get it in and out of gear but the car does start up by key switch. Gas Tank is in car with new straps and bolts. The car will have to be towed onto a flatbed or a trailer.

Asking 4500 or best offer. The car needs roughly $1000 in parts to get it in a running driving condition. I have plenty of spare parts such as high back bucket seats (Need re upholstery), tailights, seat belts, 2 big bolt pattern cop car wheels with used tires, 2 big bolt pattern rally wheels, used Mickey Thompson 235/60/15 Drag Radials, and the stock grille to complete 90% of the car.
This is the car for someone who has the time and space to put something together.
I do not have a headliner, rear package tray, or dashpad to go with the car.
Might be interested in selling the car minus the Engine/Trans/Driveshaft and some parts for $1800. I might be interested in just parting out the car and selling everything I have separately depending on what offers I get. Throw me an offer, let me know what you are thinking. The worst I can say is no.
