nice i really like those wheels. i have a 71 demon too and it well get those wheels too at some point. what size tires are you using btw i have some 225/50 on mine right now but just because they were free tires off a hybrid fusion you know i need those fuel saving tires for my 383

I think my tires are the stock mustang size, 245/45? I think?
Seems like they are hard to find. I was looking for one to have as a spare a while back and couldn't seem to find one.

Carquest in Hollywood industrial park across from Tractor supply. They sell automotive paint and primer. They used to sell Nason but recently changed to something else. Not much else in this area.

got some good time into today 9/5/2020. started with some more filler work on 1/4

and some more

still need some more

and that is where we stopped today on the 1/4 have some light spots to fill tomorrow and should be ready for some primer.
also made a new weather seal for my truck out of one i got off a PT cruiser and a ford fusion laying in my yard. truck shuts nice and tight now.

it's was a nice day outside today so had a lot of time to get stuff done. spouse to be nice for the next 2 days hopefully the car will be in primer by the end of this long weekend.

got some more work done on monday 9/7/2020 got 3 of my 4 fender ext. cleaned.

got some primer

and finally got the rh 1/4 in primer

this is just the base coat of primer it still needs to be sanded smooth and then hopefully just apply one more coat after the primer has been fine sanded.

got some good work on the car today 9/12/2020. I started with the back side of the hood.

started with some sanding but then found some rust.

so I found some metal and made a patch.

cut some off and with a metal break a new hood brace.

drilled a few holes and a little bit of die grinder action.

Finally a few welds later and it's much stronger now.
my brother was working on the trunk it was not looking good.

it was separating at the seem.

and had some heavy rust time for plan B go look around my yard see what other trunks i had.

nope just as rusty if not more.

nope no trunk.

still no good.

this one doesn't look bad but i could put my finger threw the bottom of the lip so a no go to.

this car had a good one it was my last car too so a good thing.

so now my car looks like this until i get the trunk sanded down and primed.

Its coming along nicely. Least you got some donor material to help the build. Saves lots of time having stuff on hand.

been working on the car for a while now haven't post in a bit. adjusted my valves by moon light not too long ago.

I forgot my phone for I forgot my phone for a day or two so i dont have any pics of taping the car before priming.

but that's the first coat of primer.

still not as many pics as i wanted but the car moved for the first time on over 5 years!

I took off this week from work so i could go to work and work on my dart there

lucky I work as a ford mechanic at my local ford dealer. so now i get to work on the car inside and with a lift. I work on installing a new dart seat in my car today it came out of a 2013 that i got out of from the junk yard. My original rear seat was in really poor shape.
