1971 to 1973

just a short question, does a 1971 fender fit on a 1973 plymouth duster???

It does fit, but the marker light is different. On the 71 it's recessed in the fender and the 73 it's not. The 71 has a fender extension and the 73 doesn't.

Think it is just Darts and Demons that had extensions 70-72. Don't think Dusters ever did.

You're correct

I've got a pair of fenders here for my '74 Duster (one from a '70 Valiant, one from a '71 Duster), they're identical to my '74 Fenders, with the exception of the Side marker lights

One other difference is the '70-2 models have a latch support tab welded to the top inner edge. Easy to add or remove....

Also one of the bolt holes where the fender bolts to the core support wont line up.

They are different at the core support and grille support I can post pics if needed.
