You don’t know me
I’ve decided to sell my 1972 Swinger project. It’s a sweet car but I found something else I want more. This is a life long Arizona car. It was parked in the late 1980s after the hood blew open going down the freeway and took out the windshield. It sat with no hood since around 1987! So the engine is a locked up, rusty boat anchor!
Here are the particulars about the car. First the body. It wears its original paint, the doors open and close like a new car, no collision damage, no hail dents, one minor scrape on the right quarter and a dent/tear on the top of the cowl on the passenger side from the hood blowing open at 65mph. Also has some minor rust in the lower right quarter and trunk floor from a bad trunk lip seal. I am including a lower quarter I cut off another Dart and a trunk floor. The replacement hood has a few dings and holes drilled in it from a hood scoop. You could put a hood scoop back on it and no one will know.
The interior is sun cooked and dry as a popcorn fart! However, the dash bezels are still good and the cardboard headliner is still there. Factory radio is torn apart junk but I’m including a replacement. Interior floors are solid, just surface rust. Now the drivetrain. The slant sux is locked up from being filled with water for the past 35 plus years. It’s complete but it’s junk. I don’t know what condition the 904 transmission is in and the 7 1/4 is still there. The car rolls and steers just fine. Has 4 new tires on it.
Great car to stick another slant in or a V8 and just enjoy it as a driver. Or whatever your heart desires.
I can deliver to SoCal or surrounding states for around $500 depending on location. And with diesel around $4 a gallon here, that’s a steal of a deal. Lol
