On A/C the fresh air door should be open and interior door closed. My Situation In that mode is the fresh air door does not open. On A/C MAX the interior door is suppose to open and fresh door stays closed . The vacum hoses ae all connected together. Evert other mode works fine . Defrost /heat etc. Is it the control or should i ck something else.

Sounds like a vacuum line is swapped somewhere. See if you can find a vacuum diagram of the heat/ac controller and start tracing them. Just my thought, if someone has a better idea, please chime in.
