I think he is definitley right.. if it means that much to her, and it hurts that much, or its that hard to part with it for a price that everyone knowledgeable about the car is telling her is a realistic figure, then it needs to go in the garage and get covered.. eventually pass it to one of the girls, keep it in the family.. there will be grandkids someday... no shame in keeping a treasured car in the family... just my .02
