1974 Valiant Slant Six to V8 Motor Mount Question

1974 Valiant /6 to V8, are the K-frames different between the two? Do they use spool type mounts, could I just get V8 mounts and use the stock /6 K? Thanks!

They're not the same. Either get conversion mounts from Schumacher or swap a V8 K member for your swap.

i just bought a '74 v8 car for that very reason, that and the discs, bigger rear end and bigger bolt pattern. 250.00 and i was able to drive it home..barely

In my resto thread, http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=10508&page=1&pp=20 , I used the conversion mounts and they were easy to do. IMO, well worth the price.
