Can you please post a picture of the fender tag?
And the import tag please.
Is there a build sheet?
Original paint?
Is it yours?
Is there a link to the ad?

Anyone here know AutoMex VIN's?

The tag is in the ebay listing.

Very cool car! I’m sure these are fairly rare in the states, but does anyone know how many of these they built in Mexico?

I'm just curious to know if it's a true Mexican Super Bee.

I've done past research on Mexican cars but I can't recall the 360 being offered.

Just a four barrel 318.

Rivets instead of screws would be a red flag for a US or Canada car.

I think the tag pic zooms on the listing.

I was just reading this the other day about these cars. Mexico actually held onto and even raised horsepower on these cars through the 70's while HP was decreasing here in the States. The 360 went in these in 75 according to this article. Fun little read if you have time.

They rated the 4 barrel 318 at 270 HP.

I bet they didn't change from gross to net in '72 like we did, though, so 270 gross for a not specified compression ratio 318 with a 4 barrel and dual exhaust is probably close.

'76, No reason for it not to be a 360 then.

Except for the AutoMex history of putting 4 barrel 318's in Super Bees rather than the 340.

I just Googled it and if you look at the pictures most have a hood tach. Even the advertisement car has one. I wonder if that was factory on them? Interesting...
