1994 dodge 1500 pop while driving

ok so i have a 1994 dodge 5.2 2wd manual been chasing a running problem to start it use to pop wile under a heavy load going up hills or just hard on pedal changed a bunch of stuff didn't fix the problem ended up just building a new engine everything new got the hughes intake to eliminate the stock intake problems new engine was non egr mine was egr changed vacuum lines and just let plug open put headers and true dule exhaust checked fuel pressure that is good timing is good so with all that when new engine was installed new problem every once in a while when starting it will run ruff popping and acting up turn key off back on and its fine sometimes have to do it a few times but then its fine but while driving at a steady acceleration it will do the pop push accelerator harder or less and its fine

new parts: msd coil, crank sensor, temp sensor, timing, ecm, o2 sensor, coil pickup, plugs and wires, cap rotor ,

1. What is the fuel pressure to the rails ?

2. In tank filter clogged or leaky fuel tank sending unit seal?

35psi key on 40psi running at idle

I too had a 92 dodge with the same problems. The distributor was worn out. Replaced it with new and Indexed it correctly with the multimeter as per the service manual. Not too much later had alot of the same problems. I sold the truck and kept the engine. Converted it to carburated and an electronic distributor. The issue went away for a bit and then came back. A new distributor destroyed again.. Long story short. The distributor drive bushing in the block was worn and needed replaced. I read that apparently the first few years of the Magnum the bushing would wear prematurely. I am very confident that you will notice some wobble in the distributor shaft and that is not good. It is a very overlooked part that from what I can tell rarely fails. However, like I said, I did read that the early magnums suffered from bushing wear. I wanted to comment because I didn't think anyone else would have said anything about this problem.

Like Rusty says. If you don't DIAGNOSE the problem, throwing parts at it won't fix it. I know it is frustrating. I wish you luck.

You need to contact whoever did your tune and tell them what the issue is and get a revision and then back your way out from there.

what's the best way to diagnose it with obd1 cant do a lot i've tested and replaced everything i can think of
