2 Post Lift

Does anybody use a two post lift in a garage with a 10 foot ceiling? I saw one that had that was only about 9.5 feet tall?

Or should I consider a mid rist lift?

I have a 2 post lift but I have a 12 foot ceiling. I think you might have some clearance issues with anything less.

you might get a car high enough to work under it sitting in a chair. LOL

I agree with the clearance issues .. It'll work, but I don't think you'll get your car up as high as you'd like for certain jobs ... The ceiling in our shop is 14' high, and when the lift is fully extended my Duster roof has about 6" of clearance on top ... If I had to drop it down 3.5', which is the room you'll have, I wouldn't be a happy camper ...
