Does anyone have a source or part number for the Packard 56 terminals that take two 16ga wires? Or is twisting the two wires together and using a larger terminal the only option?
Thanks Rob. That'd be convenient if I could find them at Napa.waytek, terminal supply, NAPA should have those.
Thanks Rob. That's actually what the gentleman at Electrical Depot recommended. Not sure it's worth buying a special wider open barrel crimp tool for either. Plus I can source the 12ga 56's locally if needed.Oh, I missed the putting two wires into one terminal. brain fog... LOL
JMO, twist them together, use a 12ga terminal, then hit the tip of the wires with some solder to lock in place.

Do it once with the right tools or do it again down the road when it comes apart? Not sure it's worth buying a special wider open barrel crimp tool for either
I have a great open barrel crimp tool for the single 12ga terminals. It'll turn out great.Do it once with the right tools or do it again down the road when it comes apart?
