I really hate being this guy but I doubt that's legit. The first picture is a rendering with the use of a camero. Not to mention if this thing was going to be launched at the end of this year there would be countless threads about it already as well as reviews from well known magazines. I would love to see one come out but I am 99% positive that it's not happening for at least two years.

That's the link to chryslers plans for the next five years. Says the challenger is getting redone in 2018 so maybe this will be it.

Yeah we are looking into a hands on look at the car down in Florida to see what it really looks and feels like up close and personal. I have to keep my dad from being impulsive lol! He only has room in his garage for 4 more cars! Told him he can park both at my house!! Just built another added garage with lift!

Yeah that's exactly what my father says, that's why hes getting in touch with the dealer we ordered the Hellcat Challenger from to see what the scoop is on this cuda. Will post what I hear.

Fake. Super old pic.

The pic may be old and "fake" but the talks are real. It was confirmed by the company CEO Timothy Kuniskis, still not sure if the car will be this design or not we have seen many different and better designs then this one but its worth looking into. Here is the latest design for the cuda, from base models up to premium, doesn't mention the SRT8 version though.

2015 Dodge Barracuda Design and Features

It will be positioned on a brand-new platform, 2015 Dodge Barracuda will not experience a complete redesign. Even the very competitors of this design, Mustang and Camaro, speak in favor of 2015 Dodge Cuda design. In the design of pony-car, 2015 Barracuda will keep Street and Racing Innovation. Identified SRT, however under the name 2015 Dodge Barracuda, it will be improved. The brand-new platform, which will bring this model is planned for the worldwide market. On it also will be placed coupes, sedans and spiders from the Fiat-Chrysler Corporation. Significantly less weight (300 pounds), with new power devices, 2015 Dodge Barracuda will have improved performance. The distinct grille of automobile and aerodynamic design, just will be streamlined, not revamped.

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's 2 different cars in the article. LOVE the rear view but do not like the rest. I call bs on it tho but who knows?

Yeah we aren't sure yet what the exact design will be. My dads trying to find out what the deal is with his mopar connections down in Florida.

This car isn't coming out this year buddy. Chrysler isn't just going to launch a suprise car in a few months without any press. Just take the pic and a few beans to chip foose and have him build it.

Damn...that's even "uglier" then the challenger...and that's hard to do.

Never said this car was coming out this year just posted the article for those interested so if not interested why keep replying to it? Get informed with current events and make educated statements.

Simply said my dad sent it to me to read, he has always had major connections with the Chrysler people through his many years racing for Dodge/plymouth so if anyone I know can find out it will be him. And theres even talks that this ugly Cuda will replace the Challengers, so as for your statement of them surprising us with a new concept car you must be in a cave they have been in design for over 4 years already so that's NOT a surprise. The CEO is saying this car will be produced by next year, this was stated as of September 2014 so wheres the surprise? Anyways keep up with current events before you make uneducated statements.

The article said at the end of this year. I was saying this car isn't going to be on the road by the end of this year. I keep up with current events just fine and that's why I don't think this rendering is going to be on sale in the next three months. The car isn't even a concept yet is it?

If you want to know when you have to track the timeline for the new midsize rwd Masratti , Chrysler has consistantly said the new Barracuda will be the North American branding of this vehicle , last word was development had been pushed back another year or so on this platform so don't hold your breath .On the plus side they have also said it will be available with the then rumored to be in development supercharged Hemi know known of course as the Hellcat .

Some Hellcat options, we opted out on the ugly sunroof and the satin black hood, we are having custom stripe designed for ours. Our green Hellcat has only black leather interior option so we are going to have the seats custom detailed. There aren't a lot of add ons as of yet but they will surface soon enough. The only problem with making this car faster then it already is is the roll bar needed to drag race it legally NHRA rules as we all know a roll bar is needed and the type is determined by how fast the car goes. My cousin is Chris Alston of Alston chassis works in California so we are going to fly him down to Florida to design a roll bar and any chassis upgrades for the car once its finished. That way he can start making the production parts for the chassis that these Hellcats will need to stay in one piece after they get tweaked lol! Anyways for those interested here is the factory option lists and the updated ones as well. Delivery of our car is early 2015!
