Looks like this may be another problematic Friday qualifying due to weather. The Sunday forecast currently shows a high of 79F and sunny up to noon, then partly cloudy after that but again no rain in the forecast for Sunday.

Start of qualifying weather-delayed at the New England Nationals
According to competitionplus.com, the rain has stopped but water got under the rubber on the top end of the drag strip. The NHRA Safety Safari is currently scraping the rubber up and will have to rebuild the rubber layer before qualifying can start.
There currently is no estimated time when qualifying/racing will start today.

I haven't seen this yet on nhra.com, but competitionplus.com and a short article in my local Orange County Register newspaper this morning says the U.S. Army is "opting out" of the sponsorship for Tony Schumacher's Top Fuel ride in 2019 after nineteen years due to a reallocation of their marketing budget.
It's going to be strange to not see "ARMY" on his dragster going forward. Tony's been called "the Sarge" for a long time.
I don't think DSR should have much of a problem finding another sponsor.
