#11 Denny Hamlin on the Pole in Chicago.
No Pole Pick bonus this week.

Can I select Mother Nature as the winner?

Single file starts stink.

Looks like the points gap up front might have gotten closer in our "chase".

I know Nascar spent a lot of money promoting this race, but in my eye, this was a flop. First, that single file start/restarts is a flop. Didn't allow any room for passing, or opportunities to pass. Strategy never really came into play. It was basically a two horse race at every restart.

Yeah, maybe the weather put a damper on the race. I thought it was going to be a failure right off the bat, but if the weather had cooperated, maybe it wouldn't have been so bad. They definitely need more passing zones. I took the NZ'er for the pole because he is super talented for sure, but I didn't think the boys would let him come into their house and show them up. I remember Boris Said getting knocked around like a pool ball when he was the visiting ringer on road courses. Times change I guess. When gibbs won the Xfinity title that showed it for sure. AND changing the race to 75 laps after some pit stops took place screwed some teams, (and me) for sure.

Congratulations to 'cuda20' (FABO) for #91 Shane Van Gisbergan to win the inaugural Chicago Street Race on the streets of the Windy City. He picked up -5 bonus points for this pick.
Nobody picked #31 Justin Haley to be the race runner-up so no bonus points this week.

#20 Christopher Bell was the race leader at the end of Stage 1, #45 Tyler Reddick was in 2nd place.
#20 Christopher Bell was the race leader at the end of Stage 2, #5 Kyle Larson was in 2nd place.

'cuda20' (FABO) had the low-net score honor for the race with
-3.5 points.

Please post your picks for the next race and let me know if you want to "lock" them in for future weeks. I will put an "L" before either your Pole pick or your race picks to show they've been "locked".
As always, you can always make different picks each week. Your "locked" picks will always be there should you forget to post your race picks, your computer malfunctions or the site should go down temporarily.

Don't forget to get your picks for the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway posted before the green flag drops at approximately 7:15pm EDT (4:15pm PDT) on Sunday, July 9.

Your Pole Pick for Atlanta will need to be posted before qualifying starts at 535pm EDT (2:35pm PDT) on Saturday, July 8.

Initial Atlanta picks (always subject to update):

Pole
#5 Kyle Larson

Race
#8 Kyle Busch > changing to #9 Chase Elliott
#5 Kyle Larson > changing to #24 William Byron

Another week, another race qualifying, and no qualifying bonus point again this week.
Nobody picked Aric Almirola to be the quickest around Atlanta today.
