Congratulations to ''GTXDAN' (FBBO), 'memike' (FABO), 'stroked340' (FABO) and 'TT5.9mag' (FABO) for sharing the 2025 NHRA Nevada Nationals Top Qualifier title with outstanding almost-perfect totals of 31.5 bonus points each. They each correctly picked the #1 qualifier in Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, and the #2 qualifier in Top Fuel.
'Back in Time' (FABO), 'Budnicks' (FBBO) and 'cuda20' (FABO) were right behind with 30.0 bonus points each.

More great picks!

We have 17 players this week and 11 different driver combos made up of:
* 5 different Top Fuel drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. There is a possible head-to-head matchup in Round 2 of eliminations if both drivers survive Round 1.
* 5 different Funny Car drivers. The earliest possible head-to-head matchup would be in Round 2 of eliminations if both drivers survive.

* 3 different Pro Stock drivers with the earliest possibility of a head-to-head matchup in Round 2 of eliminations if both drivers survive.

* 3 different Pro Stock Motorcycle drivers. The earliest possibility of any head-to-head mathup is the semi-final round of eliminations if the drivers survive.

Good luck all!

Congratulations to 'alsant' (FBBO) for winning the "Top Picker Eliminator" title for the 2025 NHRA Nevada Nationals with an outstanding total of 173.5 points. He picked the winners of both Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, his Funny Car pick lost in the final round of eliminations, and his Top Fuel pick lost in the semi-final round of eliminations. He was also helped with ET bonus points in Pro Stock Motorcycle and Speed bonus points in both Funny Car and Pro Stock Motorcycle.
'GTXDAN' (FBBO), 'memike' (FABO), 'stroked340' (FABO) and 'TT5.9mag' (FABO) all shared the runner-up spot with 161.5 points each.
Way to go!

Update with only the NHRA Finals to go...

If I correctly read how the points accumulate, a maximum of 191 points are available at the In-N-Out Burger Finals (191 points).

Weather is not looking good.

Updated (from MSN.com) Pomona weather forecast for the NHRA Finals...

Friday
Chance of rain up until 8am
Q1: Partly cloudy and 59F
Q2: Partly cloudy and 57F

Saturday
Q3: Partly cloudy and 61F
Q4: Partly cloudy and 62F

Sunday
Eliminations: mostly sunny and 61F

Sounds like QUICK AND FAST weather to me.

The forecast is definitely changing, for the better that’s for sure.

It's time for your final 'Tuesday before the race' notice of the 2025 season, the 60th annual In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals, November 13-16, at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip at the Fairplex in Pomona, CA.
Please check the driver entries and post your picks before Pro qualifying starts so you will be eligible for all event bonus points.

The entry cutoff was at 4:00pm EDT (1:00pm PDT) yesterday and the nhra.com website shows the following entry counts:
11 Top Fuel
21 Funny Car
18 Pro Stock
16 Pro Stock Motorcycle

As always, I suggest you double-check to make sure all of your driver picks are racing. There have been some no-shows at recent race events of the season. If your posted driver skips the event and you do not select a replacement prior to the start of eliminations, I will use your posted driver from the most recent completed event. Unfortunately, any replacement driver after the start of qualifying will not be eligible for any event bonus points.

The current updated weekend weather forecast shows a shaky chance of getting this race in on schedule:
* Friday currently shows a better than 60% chance of rain throughout the day with a high temperature of 60F
* The forecast for both Saturday and Sunday is a better than 40% chance of rain throughout the day with a high temperature of 60F on Saturday and 62F on Sunday
* Monday and Tuesday weather forecast is for partly sunny and a high temperature of 63F

The annual NHRA Awards banquet is usually scheduled for the Monday following the Finals. It will be interesting to see how they work this out if the weather extends qualifying and eliminations to Monday or beyond.

The current television schedule for the NHRA Finals...
* Qualifying Show 1: 6:30-8:00pm EST (3:30-5:00pm PST), Friday, November 14 on FS1
* Qualifying Show 2: 11:00am-12:30pm EST (8:00-9:30am PST), Sunday, November 16 on FS1
* Finals Eliminations: 5:00-8:00pm EST (2:00-5:00pm PST), Sunday, November 16 on FS1

Check your local television listings or www.nhra.com if there are any weather delays in the racing.

All television coverage will also re-air at later times. Check www.nhra.com.

Don't miss out!
