I scoured the internet looking for different wheel/tire size combinations and suggestions trying to see what would fit before making my purchase, so I figured I would share as another data point for anyone going through the same thing.

When i bought the car it had Rallye wheels, fronts were 14x6 with 235/60r14 Cooper Cobras and rears were 15x7 with 255/60r15 Cooper Cobras. This was on Mopar HD (#2835132) Springs. The fenderwell lip (measured at rearwheel centerline) was 27" from the floor.

Switched over to Cragar SS 15x7 (4.125"BS) wrapped in 215/60r15 BFG Radial TAs on the front and 15x8 (4.25"BS) wrapped in 275/60r15 BFG Radial TAs in the rear. I installed Mopar Performance 02/03 Superstock springs at the same time to give the rear some extra clearance for the larger tires. Rear tire fenderwell lip now measures 30" from the floor. About 0.5" of height gained from the larger tire and 2.5" from the Superstock springs. Both sides pf the rear end are sitting level.

Hope this info is helpful for others looking to do something similar. Let me know what you think!

I have the same size tires on my 72 Duster.
15x6 front and 15x8 rear with 4.5 backspace.

I am going to switch to 205/65r15 on the front. They are V rated for a stiffer sidewall. Hopefully I won't lose any handling with the narrower tire. I am hoping the skinnier tire will turn with a little less effort at low speeds with my manual steering. It is livable as is but I want to see if I notice a difference.

On the 15x6 I wanted I was thinking a 195/65r15 tire would be about right.

Yours appears to sit a little lower than mine and of course your wheelwell may be smaller than mine.

Looks like the new Leaf Springs really lifted the car in the back.
Got exactly 3" of lift measured at the wheel well between the two pictures. From everything I read, the 02/03 Superstock springs are supposed to give around 2-2.5" of lift. Going from a 27" to a 28" tire accounts for 0.5" so looks like they're spot on. I wanted the raked stance for the car.

I was expecting the passenger side rear to sit higher with the 02 leaf spring, but that is not the case with these. Sits level side to side.

Those springs are biased side to side and as designed, the car sits lower on the driver's side so as to launch straight in a drag situation. Usually, the difference is "around" 1.5" so if it's sitting level, something's up. That said, I love the stance. It really looks good. I always try to get as close to same diameter as I can running different sizes in case I have to run the spare, it won't make a difference.

That's what i was expecting. I definitely got 2 different springs. 02 on the right, 03 on the left. Mopar Performance label and part numbers on the springs. Not a whole lot of ways to screw up the install, but its sitting level.

I always THOUGHT odd numbers on the right and even numbers on the left. Knowing me, I remembered it backwards.

I just looked it up and you have it correct. I did remember it wrong. No surprises there. lol
