273 Oil capacity

Hi all, I'm getting ready to change the oil for the first time after purchasing my B'Cuda and haven't been able to find much info about the oil capacity or oil weight used in the 2bbl 273 used in 1965. The oil pan is the stock unit.

What weight, and how much do you use in your 273's?

4qts + filter. I run 5w30 but 10w30 will be just fine. Just make sure you add a bottle of zinc additive.

If that engine has had zinc laced oil for many years past, a oil with it isn't absolutely required today.

Solid lifter motor needs the zinc, the oils today have zip for zinc. Rotella T 15/40W still has 1200ppm of zinc and 110ppm of phospherous , was a good oil for older motors.
