nice car!a little off topic...but i had a 66 s 20 or so years ago and it had wood grain on the gauge bezel'''since then every one i see is silver...like the 30 grand one above.
 

I think 66s are ugly anyway so I wouldda just laughed.
 
$30 large seems a stretch but i'll bet the builder has damn close to $20 in it. Can't begrudge anyone of a profit. There will be someone with money to buy a car like this and close to the asking price. Looks nicely done. tmm
 
The combination of color,4 speed, and vinyl top make it a fairly rare car. Not sure 30K rare. Side note. I had one with this combination and was formula S. Got it when I got out of Navy in June 68. Sure loved that little car.
 
Best thing about it???...its the super rare "coupe"!!! And I thought they only made cask backs in 66!! Stupid me!!!......
 
All kidding aside, do the inside door panels look a little off to anyone else? They look wavy, almost like they are warped in some way. Or is it just a trick of the light on the vinyl? Not trying to poke holes in the car. It's a damn nice looking one. That was just one of the things that stood out at me in the pictures. I couldn't see that on the lot as the doors were locked.
 
They do look a little wavy but that looks like it could be the way they sprayed the armor all if you look close.
