Any recommendations on harmonic balancers?

Motor is getting rebuilt and mild cam swap and I’d like to replace the crappy dried out balancer that was on there.

Just looking for what has worked well for others without overspending needlessly.

Thanks!

Don't use this one

Fortunately, my mechanic buddy discovered this during the double roller timing chain & gears and 4-bbl swap!

He found a stock replacement from a local parts house.

I just picked up a ProStreet balancer for my 340. Looks like a decent piece, but won't be installing it until this weekend. Will post a follow up once I'm done.

I used ot use Pro Products. I will only use their SFI ones now. IMO, for a milder build, use a factory unit in good shape. If yours is dry and cracked then replace it with another stock used one. If you "must" replace it, do not use a non-SFI approved one. The stock ones are hit or miss and the misses get really expensive.
